Foundation

In 1973, Khateeb-e-A'zam, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi (Allaah have mercy on him) established the Gulzar-e-Habib Trust and started the construction of Jaame Masjid Gulzar-e-Habib (Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam) in Doli-Khaata Gulistan-e-Okarvi (Soldier Bazaar) Karachi, Pakistan on land dedicated for this purpose since 1903.

In 1980, under the management of Gulzar-e-Habib (Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam) Trust, Jaami'ah Islaamiyah Gulzar-e-Habib (Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam) was established.

Accomplish Desires And Attain Rewards

The foundation is built upon the spiritual guidance of Mujaddid-e-Maslak-e-Ahle Sunnat [Reviver of the true Sunni Path], Muhsin-e-Mulk o Millat [Benefactor of the Country and Nation], Aashiq-e-Rasool [Lover of the Holy Prophet], Muhibb-e-Sahaabah Wa Aal-e-Batuul [Lover of the Companions and the Progeny of Hazrat Saiyyidah Faatimah Batuul], Mahbuub-e-Auliyaa [Beloved of the Friends of Allaah], Khateeb-e-A'zam Hazrat Al Haaj Allaamah Qiblah Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi (Allaah have mercy on him).

A Spiritual Announcement

He had announced this with special permission that: "If a person has any legitimate desire then he should read two Rak'aat Nafl (Salaat/Namaaz-e-Haajat) and supplicate to Allaah Ta'aalaa that by the mediation of 313 As-haab-e-Badr [313 Participants of the holy-war of Badr] (Allaah is well-pleased with them) fulfill my lawful desire so from the side of 313 As-haab-e-Badr. I will give 313 rupees for the construction of Jaame Masjid Gulzar-e-Habeeb (Sallal Laahu 'Alaiehi Wa Sallam) Gulistan-e-Okarvi (Soldier Bazaar), Karachi. In Shaa Allaah his desire will be fulfilled."

Ongoing Blessings

Al Hamdu Lil Laah! By the glad tidings of Hazrat Khateeb-e-A'zam (Allaah have mercy on him) till now millions of people have been benefitted, their lawful desires are fulfilled. You can also dispel your difficulties with this living munificence.

According to the plan the construction work is still in progress. The Masjid is also gradually fulfilling the constructive stages and the rewards of Sadaqah-e-Jaariyah [Continuous Charity] is also being received. Jaame Masjid Gulzar-e- Habeeb is unique amid the ancient and big Masaajid of the city of Karachi.

The holy shrine of Khateeb-e-A'zam, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shafee Okarvi (Allaah have mercy on him) is also being constructed within the boundaries of the Masjid.
